Are there reasons to keep your landline phone? Ok...what?

Many people have a landline phone. Not me. I only use my cell phone. Now, I have to admit that a few years ago I got an Internet line call Magic Jack for those companies who insist that their customers have a "landline" number, but I never use it. In fact, it has been unplugged for about 4 years. The line is still active, but I never make calls from it. My bad. Tell me your thoughts?
